Random photos of various types of loop antennas. I will add more over time.
Improvised 2m SSB double loop antenna for Field Day465 MHz quad. This shows that I cannot drill a straight hole through a piece of plastic pipe, so the spreaders came out at many different angles. I just formed the wire loops into squares and tied them to the spreaders in about the right place with strips of plastic.Feedpoint for 40m 200 ohm delta loop using zip cordCorner of loop attached to fiberglass spreader with tie wraps2-element quad for 2m200 ohm delta loop for 6m3-element folding quad for 732 MHz3-element “strung wire” quad for 121.5 MHz using fiberglass spreaders112 ohm diamond loop with single center spreader50 ohm delta loop for 6m. This loop started out to be a rectangle, but the hexagon was mechanically simpler.
I used the same method for a 50 ohm 10m loop, using sectional tent poles for the spreaders.
